Angel Farm
Located in three counties and two states. You cross from Floyd County, Georgia into Polk County, Georgia to enter the farm. You then cross the Georgia/Alabama state line to reach the barn. You can watch the sun rise in Georgia and set in Alabama! We are located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and have a views of the Indian Mountain Range.
It is a privately operated wedding venue owned and operated by Kent and Kaye Angel Dyer. The property has been in the family for four generations.
Kaye’s grandfather plowed parts of this farm using a mule and plow. Her father grew up plowing this way and eventually became a row crop farmer of several hundred acres. His love of the land and collection of old farm equipment has become part of the family legacy. One of which Angel Farm plans to feature.
It is our dream at Angel Farm to help families become one. Our joy comes from sharing what God has blessed us with and to see families enjoying time together. It is extremely important to us to make your wedding as special as you dream.
We hope you find Angel Farm a special place to begin your story. We already know it is a special place and are excited to share it with others looking for a special place.
Angel Farm is rich in history. Rocky Hollow Road was known as the road from Jacksonville, Alabama to Rome, Georgia. It was traveled by Civil War soldiers and encampments were made very close to the venue site. There has been a Confederated belt buckle and a Federal uniform button found on the property as well as many arrowheads.
Angel Farm has Lumpkin Mill Creek running on the property. It’s a peaceful, little creek flowing over many rocks. Beautiful mountains, trees and rolling pastures surround and hold you captive at Angel Farm.
The venue at Angel Farm is a huge timber frame structure built by the family. The main barn features a 26 foot vaulted timber structure and beautiful wagon wheel chandeliers made by a local blacksmith. The grounds feature a creek, beautiful pine and hardwood forest, and a heart shaped pond. On the property is a covered bridge, a country store with covered porches for relaxing; large multipurpose pavilion barn, corn fields, and fields of flowers.
Angel Farm isn’t just a place to get married, it is the perfect place to be one with nature and to celebrate your union as a couple.
