See 1900s trains and mining cars. Focusing on the total concept of coal mining in Alabama from 1890 to 1940. In 1984 the Alabama Mining Museum was designated by the Alabama State Senate as “The Official State Coal Mining Museum of Alabama.” Hours: Tues.- Sat. 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Free admission.
