Alabama Military Hall of Honor

The Alabama Military Hall of Honor was established in 1975 and stands today to honor Alabama's Military heroes. Here they are provided a permanent tribute with displays of portrait plaques of inductees and military artifacts. The museum is housed in a building that was built circa 1832 as a law office and then served as the Marion City Hall for forty years. It was moved from the courthouse square to the Marion Military Institute campus to serve as the museum building during the late 1960s.
