Don Kresge Memorial Radio Museum

Operated by the Alabama Historical Radio Society, the Don Kresge Memorial Museum allows visitors to see and listen to radios manufactured more than 50 years ago. The society was founded in June 1989 by Don Kresge, a retired General Electric engineer, to provide an opportunity for men and women of all ages to join together and pursue their interest in vintage radio. Whether you enjoy listening to music of the Big Band Era, listening to old broadcasts, or actually restoring an old radio, the society has a place for you.
