NASCAR's Most Competitive venue hosts two NASCAR weekends each year - In late April, it's NASCAR's GEICO 500 & Sparks Energy 300, along with the General Tire 200 ARCA event (in 2019, set for weekend of April 26-28); In October, it's NASCAR's 1000Bulbs.com 500 and the Talladega 250 - both critical Chase Elimination races in the battle for season-ending championships (Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series & Camping World Truck Series). 2018 event weekend is Oct. 12-14. Track is open year-round for speedway tours via the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
