Science Center

Alabama's oldest & largest wildlife rehabilitation facility, AWC annually treats almost 2,000 native wild birds from over 100 different species. Visitors can enjoy paid or self-guided tours & observe patients via camera monitors or one-way glass viewing windows.

Golf Course

This 18-hole, semi-private golf course is conveniently located just four miles east of I-65 in Pelham, Alabama. It's also the home of the Dixie Section of the PGA.

Oak Mountain Golf Course is a public, 18-hole championship course (par 72) designed by Earl Stone. Repeatedly rated by Golf Digest to be among the top 50-75 public courses in the United States. Championship course with Bermuda greens and fairways, meandering water. Driving range and putting green; flat layout.

Indoor Recreation Site

2 ice rinks (lessons available), birthday party rooms with fireplaces, 7,200-sq.-ft. meeting and banquet facility, 30,000-sq.-ft. exhibit/concert area.

Sports Arena

The Pelham Recreation Center opened the doors January 5, 2018 with a packed house grand opening. The Recreation Center has 3 regulation size basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, the Park and Recreation offices, restrooms, locker rooms, a conference room and a multipurpose room.
