Alabama Shakespeare Festival

Did you know that one of the greatest theatrical destinations in America can be found right in the heart of Alabama? The Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery draws visitors to diverse performances of the works by William Shakespeare.

The Virginia Samford Theatre in Birmingham, built in 1927, presents an annual offering of stage musicals, classic dramas, and new works. While the Monroe County Museum hosts the annual threatrical production of Christopher Sergel's "To Kill a Mockingbird".
