Alabama Coastal Cleanup

The 2026 Alabama Coastal Cleanup is the 39th year of the State’s largest annual volunteer event. Involved citizens, school groups, businesses and clubs walk or boat in 28 different zones throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Volunteers pick up what they find and record the data which is submitted to The Ocean Conservancy to track what is getting into our oceans. The information is used for education on sources of debris and its effect on the environment. Since 1987, more than 110,000 volunteers removed over 1.5 million pounds of marine debris from Alabama’s valued coastline and waterways. Join us this year as we continue to make Alabama the Beautiful!
Supplies are limited. Come prepared with sunscreen, a hat, gloves, shoes and lots of water. It gets HOT! To become involved with the 39th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup, please visit www.AlabamaCoastalCleanup.com for a zone nearest you or call (251) 928-9792. The Coastal Cleanup event is held annually on the third Saturday of September.
