Garden In The Park


Garden in the Park is Opelika's annual art show featuring all handmade and natural items. Items for sale include paintings, children clothes, paintings, yard art and jewelry. A variety of local groups will be performing on the stage throughout day. Children activities include Farmer Brown Party Animals, bouncy houses, Home Depot contruction kits and face painting. Food such as funnel cakes, barbque, polish sausage and seafood will be avaliable. Tree seedlings will also be given away during Garden in the Park. There is no admission fee.

2018 Victorian Front Porch Christmas Tour

For these five days in early December, 60 Victorian and historic homes near downtown Opelika are transformed into colorful, nostalgic reminders of Christmas from a simpler, slower-paced era. The homes are adorned with life-sized Santas, angels, toys, carousel horses and other Christmas-themed figures, as well as Christmas lights, bows and greenery.
