A one day living history event commemorating the the events that happened at Mobile Bay August 5-23, 1864. The fort will come to life with drills and demonstrations of artillery by historical interpreters.

Savor fresh from the gulf seafood at the 47th Annual National Shrimp Festival during this four-day event that attracts over 300,000 people. This year the festival will play host to more than 80 hours of musical entertainment featuring a lineup of national, regional and local acts. There will be musical acts to please all palates, including Blues, Motown, Southern Rock, Jazz, Zydeco and Country. The music begins at 10 a.m. each day and runs through 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.

A guided tour by a historical interpreter of the known deaths and burials at Mobile point from 1813-1910. Bring your own flashlights. Known Deaths and Burials at Mobile Point Event Fee $12 per person 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Arm Band for this event must be pre-purchased. Limited to 100 people, first come first serve.
