Where To Eat

Hilltop Grill

Restaurant

Pork smoked over hickory and oak coals, a time proven sauce and homemade stew characterize what people in the Bullock County area call "real, down-home country eating." Since 1945, "The Grill" has been the place for barbecue, and continues to maintain a tradition of those proven country arts and skills. "The Grill" allows one to step back to a simpler time when pride, skill and service characterized food preparation. Other items such as salads, hamburgers, club sandwiches, and hamburger steaks are also served.

Famous Dishes

Smoked meat and homemade stew

Originally opened as The Grill in 1945, today the Hilltop Grill is still a locally owned, casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Known for its homemade stew and slow-cooked pork with special sauce, regulars say this is the place to kick back, relax and converse. Tender and juicy, the smoked meat plate is a favorite for lunch or dinner. The homemade stew, which comes as a side or a main course, is filled with meat, vegetables and seasonings that create a flavorful broth.
