Courtland Heritage Museum


The Town of Courtland, in conjunction with the Courtland Historical Association, established the Courtland Heritage Museum in 2009 to showcase the town and region's rich history. Dedicated to the collection, preservation and conservation of materials representive of Courtland's first 190 years, the museumfeatures historical displays relating to area's agriculture, business, transportation, history and military. As an adjuncton the development of Courtland's historic town square and the contribut9ion to heritage tourism interests across the northwest region of Alabama, the museum also serves to educate the populous and promote the public's sense of community.
