Outdoor Recreation Site
Take a driving tour of the Choccolocco Valley, surrounded by mountains. It was once Creek Indian village 1832. Settlers arrived in 1834; homes were built 1840 and school were built in 1876. Most homes were built by two slaves. Be sure to visit the gift shop in heritage museum.
